On chasing sheep and crossing lines in Sidetracked Magazine
"Just because borders exist, on maps and in minds, doesn't mean you have to believe in them."
-from Borderski in Sidetracked
This time last year my pals and I were in the Pamir mountains chasing Marco Polo sheep across all kinds of borders—between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, snow and bare dirt. Now you can read about the Borderski expedition in a short essay I wrote for Sidetracked Magazine, which must be one of the most beautiful publications out there, though it should come with a warning label for inducing wanderlust.
